Leah Mullen (b.2000) is a composer and performer whose work focuses on intersectional feminist philosophies, diverse storytelling, the wilderness, and science. She is currently based in Bern, Switzerland, where she is pursuing a dual MA-PhD binationally, at the Hochschule der Künste Bern (Switzerland) and the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg (Germany). Leah is studying composition with Dr. Leo Dick and Dr. Simon Steen-Andersen, and voice with Daniel Gloger. 

 

Leah holds degrees from the University College Dublin (Master's of Musicology in Music and Culture) and from the Pennsylvania State University (Bachelor's of Music in music composition, minor in German, and Diversity Studies Certificate). At Penn State she studied with Dr. Baljinder Sekhon and Dr. Sarah Genevieve Burghart Rice.
